The Cathedral in Odesa was damaged due to the Russian attack.
As a result of the night attack of the Russian Federation on Odesa, the Transfiguration Cathedral and some Orthodox shrines inside it were damaged. The right part of the cathedral was hit and penetrated to the minus of the first floor. The building was heavily damaged, a fire broke out inside.
The destruction was colossal. Half of the cathedral was left without a roof. The central piles and the foundation were broken. All the windows and stucco were blown out. There was a fire, the part where icons and candles are sold in the church caught fire.
