James is a former British Army Officer who saw active service in Northern Ireland, Central America and the Balkans.

He was awarded several Commendations during his military career and earned a solid reputation.

Since leaving the Army, James has founded a number of businesses in the UK and his native Jersey primarily in the construction sector.

Additionally he launched a successful digital advertising business in the UAE. In 2010 he was awarded “Entrepreneur of The Year”.

Aside from his commercial interests James was elected a Government Minister in Jersey with responsibility for Economic Development and Inward Investment. He is passionate about enterprise, growth and opportunities.

More recently James has been involved in supporting small enterprises in Ukraine and continues to develop his relationships in the country.

He holds an MBA from one of Europe’s top business schools.
