Museum and Gallery of Modern Arts

“The first piece of art work I received for my personal collection was in 1993.

It was in a form of payment for the repair, my dad Felix and I did to the house of an Ohio State University professor.

While painting the walls in the basement I saw a dusty oil painting which I really liked. I asked the professor to pay for my work with the painting and the professor kindly agreed. Instinct did not betray me, the painting turned out to be the work of the famous German painter G. Korus.

My interests focused mainly on the European, Russian and Ukrainian avant-garde, in particular, on the works of representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and those whose fate was closely connected with Ukraine.

Initially, I collected more accessible graphic works, and later oil paintings began to appear. Over the years I have managed to collect a fairly large and interesting collection, which, among others, includes  Kandinsky, Chagall, Altman, Dali, Picasso, Larionov, Goncharova, Malevich and many other geniuses of the Russian and European avant-garde. These works are included in various books of art and catalogs of Raisonne.

I sincerely want to open the world of modern art to a large number of people and invite you to my gallery.”
